Feeling Blessed

Today I feel incredibly blessed. My family had a perfect Christmas. After seeing all that santa had brought us, we ate our traditional Christmas family breakfast- Sausage Casserole. Breakfast began with my 5 year old saying the blessing and thanking God for sending his son to die on the cross to forgive us for our sins. What a true blessing to know that your child gets the true meaning of Christmas! Everyone loved their gifts and were truly grateful for everything...Oh, and Isabella sat up by herself for the first time today. I may actually remember the date of this milestone!

Going to the Zoo

A friend of mine and I took our kids plus two others to the zoo for election day since the kids were all out of school. It was no surprise that Abigail (Who is turning in to a HUGE LSU fan) loved the tiger the most! Isabella just loved all the attention she got from the other kids...

Today Abigail and I were at the post office.
Abigail - "Mom, Who are you going to vote for?"
Mom (surprised) - "Well, I am going to vote for McCain."
Abigail - "Aw...I wanted you to vote for arack bahama"
Mom - "Really? Why?"
Abigail - "Because I like to say his name!!"
If only it were that easy! Don't forget to vote tomorrow!!

Loss of a friend

I just found out that one of my coworkers was killed over the weekend. Her name was Jill Attebury. She was a wonderful Christian woman. She had just had her first child, a boy, who was 3 months old. Her husband's name is Scott. I know their hearts are broken. Please keep the Attebury family in your prayers.

Isabella is almost 4 months old. I can't believe it! It seems like only two weeks ago I was crooked faced with Bells Palsy while I was pregnant with her. She is such a sweet baby...worth every minute of the wait!!

Movie Stars???

Darrel, Abigail, and Isabella were filmed for a commercial for Willis Knighton today. Abigail is convinced she is going to be the next Vanessa Hudgens. Keep your eyes peeled for it! I'm not sure when it is supposed to come out.

We carved pumpkins this weekend. This was the first year Abigail actually helped out. She only made it through a few slimy seeds before she was done! Then daddy had to finish!

My sister stays after me DAILY about updating my blog. She, of course, updates her blog daily if not more. So...I am trying to do better!
